Theater Adventure presents “Daydreaming”
May 12, 13, and 14
Sponsored by Green River, the Shapiro Family Fund, and Community Bank, N.A.
The Theatre Adventure Wednesday Troupe will present an original adaptation of the classic tale, Charlotte’s Web on May 12, 13, and 14. The inclusive troupe uses acting, assistive technology, dancing, projected images, scenic design, and music to tell a well beloved story about a girl named Fern who falls in love with a pig, a clever and caring spider, a rat who saves the day, and many other endearing characters. E. B. White’s rich language creates a pastoral backdrop for the passage of the seasons on a New England farm.
The Troupe brings to the stage a richness of acting talents and styles of self-expression for their original production of Charlotte’s Web. The performers are not defined by their disabilities. Rather, the actors’ passion for performing creates brave and innovative theater. The troupe will bring to life E. B. White’s timeless story that includes friendship, loyalty, perseverance, and teamwork. Audience members of all ages will enjoy this one-hour production.
People of all abilities are welcome in the audiences of all Theatre Adventure performances. ASL interpreting is provided.
In order to honor audience members with special sensory needs, each performance is Sensory-Friendly. Before the show begins, the Director will talk about our online production, and characters of the play in order to support the comfort level of audience members.
