Sunday, April 14, 10am – Healing Divisions – Journey Toward a Whole Life led by Rev. Telos Whitfield. Parker Palmer is a profound writer and deep thinker, teacher and activist, offers his insights in A Hidden Wholeness. He describes “circles of trust” where our inner journeys of exploration can be held by our community. What deepens trust and expands belonging to support ourselves and each other on the journey toward lives of wholeness?

Pizza & Games Night this Friday, April 12 from 5:30 to 8 pm. Please come to this fun event for all ages. Pizza, salad and drinks will be available. Additional food contributions, including dessert are always welcome but not required. We’ll have Board games available but if you have your own favorite, please bring it to share with others.

Annual Spring Clean-Up Saturday, April 13 Noon – 3 pm. Rest easy in the morning and then join us to spruce up our building and grounds. We will take down snow barriers, put away sand barrels, and clean inside the building including kitchen, red chairs, windows and hope to begin to organize the basement. Many hands make light work plus we have a great time working together.

Sunday, April 13 – Social Justice Conversation, after worship at approximately 11:30. Bring your coffee and join the discussion about next steps for social justice activities.

ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE – SAVE 12,000 ACRES OF OLD GROWTH FOREST

I am called to help in preventing the destruction of 12,000 acres of Old Growth Forest in Rutland, Co. Here is a link through an organization called Standing Trees and Action Network. I may be part of organizing vigils or events, and hope that some of you may join in this effort. Our trees are living beings, and we want to preserve our VT trees and lands for future generations.
