As we return from the many places we’ve visited over the summer, be they far off or in our own back yards, we celebrate our ingathering and the start of another church year.  At the center of this service will be the Living Water ritual in which we co-mingle water we have collected from those places we have visited.  More than simply a metaphor, water is elemental and primary.  A great place to ground ourselves as we prepare to begin again.
