Remembrance Committee Statement of Purpose
When All Souls Church receives money donated in memory of or honoring an individual, this committee acknowledges the donation via a letter of appreciation to the donor and a notification letter to the family
The Committee maintains a Remembrance Book with obituaries and details of members’ and friends’ deaths.
The Remembrance Committee coordinates the Christmas Eve luminaria by accepting order forms and creating a list of donors. Expenses for the candles, sand, and bags are minimal and taken from the Operating Fund. Income from the event goes to the Operating Fund.
The committee consists of Lois Reynolds, Shirley Ridgway, and Howard Burrows.
