Last Community Thanksgiving Service at First Baptist Church

Singers sought for the Choir of the Community

Since the inception of the Overflow Shelter for the Homeless in 2008, the Brattleboro Area Interfaith Leadership Alliance (BAILA) has held an interfaith service of Thanksgiving in the beautiful sanctuary of the First Baptist Church on Main Street.

Next Tuesday, Nov. 26, will be the last.

To mark the final hours, anyone interested in ringing the bell is invited to come at 6:30 p.m. Members of BAILA and a community choir under the direction of Peter Amidon will gather to share memories, music, to offer thanks and a blessing for the future of the congregation. All offerings will go to Groundworks to support their ongoing work with the homeless in our community. Everyone is welcome.

Anyone who would like to sing in the Choir of the Community should arrive at 6 p.m. to rehearse.
