Save the date!
Folk singer, activist, musical conscience for the U.S., Pete Seeger, would have been 100 this year. To celebrate Pete and all he gave us All Souls Church will host a special singalong concert on Sunday, May 12, at 7 p.m. with
Emma’s Revolution:
*Peter Siegel
*Sally Rogers
*Annie Patterson
*Peter Blood
While much of the concert will feature songs we all know, the program will be drawn from “If I Had a Hammer,” a new collection of songs that Pete wrote or was great at performing and leading. This new songbook is being created by Annie Patterson and Peter Blood (creators of Rise Up Singing) especially to honor this 100th anniversary. Copies will be available to borrow or buy at the concert.
More details will emerge as we get closer to this very special concert. But you can get your tickets now at this address.
