These two artists have created more than children’s books,
they have both used bits and pieces to celebrate humanity and
the beauty of the natural world. The opening event will let
us hear more about Bryan’s legacy of sharing stories of Black lives
across the world and crafting puppets and art from items found on the
beaches of Maine.  Salley Mavor lives on Cape Cod, where she too
is a beachcomber, artist, and author who uses fabric and thread
with uncommon patience to create “wee worlds” which include her
finds.
