Theater Adventure presents “Daydreaming”
April 14, 15, 16
Sponsored by Green River, the Shapiro Family Fund, Community Bank, N.A., Brattleboro Town Arts Fund, and Arts Council of Windham County
Imagine this: Peter Pan flies into the open windows of the nursery. Those open windows invited quite a fantastical journey of other worlds of adversity, discovery, triumph, and claiming one’s belonging. Windows of inspiration. Windows of imagination. Windows of connectivity. This is what our online performing spaces are offering us as we invent our new theater production with original characters created from our own imaginations during this pandemic.
This show will be a culmination of a semester-long exploration of character-creation, puppet-play, story-invention, worlds-discovered, and poetry-crafting. A lightness of spirit will be our guide as we lift off reveling in a hot air balloon-like escapade.
We invite you to hop aboard and join us!
People of all abilities are welcome in the audiences of all Theatre Adventure performances. ASL interpreting is provided.
In order to honor audience members with special sensory needs, each performance is Sensory-Friendly. Before the show begins, the Director will talk about our online production, and characters of the play in order to support the comfort level of audience members.
