These pictures are from the May 12 Pete’s 100th celebration. As Annie Patterson put it, “We sang songs celebrating the life and work of Pete Seeger, one of the greatest human beings I have ever met. Pete spent his life working for justice and inspired us all to sing together. A full house (over 200 people) showed up and sang their hearts out. What a magical night! Peter Mitchell Blood, Sally Rogers, Lisa Gutkin (the Klezmatics), Sandy O and Pat Humphries (Emma’s Revolution), David Rodriguez (Stomp Box Trio), and Peter Siegel (The Gaslight Tinkers) joined me on stage. The music soared. The harmonies were beautiful. I’m incredibly proud and grateful to these musicians and to … all the volunteers who helped make things run so smoothly from start to finish.”
