TRY OUT THE NEW DIRECTORY!
In response to many requests for improvements in the church directory of Members and Friends, we have embarked on a project to update and modernize the directory we all use. It’s now ready for you to take a sneak peek now before it goes into general use. (The old on-line directory still works — or works as well as it did.)
To get to the new directory click this link or use the URL ascvt.org/directory
When you get to the login page, click the “First time signing in?” button.
Then, submit your e-mail and a password you want to use.
If your e-mail address is in the directory you will get an e-mail message allowing you to log in. If you don’t, send a message to George at .
If you have trouble, look at the help information on this page.
Once you are in, look around. We have put in a few pictures of people we have found. You can edit your own entry and upload your own family picture.
If you have any problems, concerns or comments, please contact George at .

Sunday’s anthem:   I Will Sing with the Spirit
“I will sing with the spirit, with the understanding.also.” These lyrics, as appear 1 Corinthians 14, v. 15, are interpreted as “hearts and mind,” reflected in our children’s chalice lighting, which adds “hands.” Let’s keep these in mind as we celebrate Palm Sunday with alleluias, and with the triumphal entrance into Jerusalem, open to lives dedicated to the blessings of all humankind.
This setting by john Rutter is on of our favorites. Rutter is a prolific English composer and conductor, music editor and arranger, and record producer. All Souls Choir has no fewer than six of his works in its library.

All Souls Church may appoint two delegates in addition to our Minister.  All delegates must register for GA.  If  you are interested in representing us as a delegate to vote at business meetings please email Leslie Kinney at .  The Board would like to identify our GA delegates at the April 10th Board meeting.

FROM THE ADMINISTRATION
The All Souls website administrators have noticed an unusual uptick in the number of random attacks on our website. In addition, the church has received some unusual bogus e-mails. We would like to remind everyone of a few things:

  1. Never open an e-mail attachment in a message from someone you do not know.
  2. If someone you know sends you a message with an unexpected attachment, check with them first before opening it.
  3. It is easy to create an account that appears to be the minister’s e-mail or the church office. Please know that neither the church nor the minister will ever ask you directly for money or to buy gift cards or make wire transfers to them. If you receive an e-mail that purports to be from the church and is asking you for money, please check with the church first.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK
“Know the ways of the ones who take care of you, so that you may take care of them.
Introduce yourself. Be accountable as the one who comes asking for life. Ask permission before taking. Abide by the answer.
Never take the first. Never take the last. Take only what you need.
Take only that which is given.
Never take more than half. Leave some for others. Harvest in a way that minimizes harm.
Use it respectfully. Never waste what you have taken. Share.
Give thanks for what you have been given.
Give a gift, in reciprocity for what you have taken.
Sustain the ones who sustain you and the earth will last forever.”
